The Case for Diversity in Commercial Real Estate

EEOC data on 166,554 employees in four job categories—senior executives, mid-level managers, professionals and clerical workers—shows the commercial real estate industry is considerably less diverse than the U.S. adult college-educated population, and that white males dominate every job category except clerical workers. As the market continues to become more divers, this imbalance will increasingly harm our ability to attract and retain talent, provide better solutions, and connect without clients.1
